Computer Tomography Based 3D Planning of Implantations

Since April 2007 we have been using a new system of computer tomography based on 3D planning of implantations (NOBELGUIDE) in our clinic.
After 3D planning on the computer, the data is sent by DSL to the NobelBiocare company in Sweden. A drilling template is designed based upon this data, using CAD/CAM technology.

The surgery is performed with minimum invasion through the holes of the drilling template without any skin opening (non-traumatic surgery). A bridge/prothesis fabricated beforehand based on the data, can be screwed directly to the implants at the end of the surgery ("teeth in one hour").
