This mostly involves smaller interventions:

surgical removal of displaced or retained teeth (wisdom teeth, canine teeth etc.)

• root extractions of incisors and molars  
• surgical removal of cysts in the upper and lower jaws
• surgical removal of small abscesses (inflammations) from the oral cavity
